General Dentist
Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a Full-Time General Dentist (40 hours/week) to provide care at multiple correctional facilities in Kentucky: Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex in West Liberty, Lee Adjustment Center in Beattyville, Little Sandy Correctional Center in Sandy Hook, and Southeast State Correctional Center in Wheelwright.
About the role
This opportunity is ideal for a dentist seeking a non-private practice setting, new graduates, or retired dentists not fully ready to retire. The position focuses on general dentistry, primarily involving screenings, exams, extractions, and fillings. Orthodontics, endodontics, crown & bridge, and complex oral surgery are not provided at these facilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care
- Perform screenings, exams, fillings, and extractions
Requirements
- Current Kentucky Dental License
- Active DEA certification
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
