General Dentist
About the role
Mid America Health is seeking a Full-Time General Dentist to join their growing team. The position is based out of the Akron, Ohio area and involves providing portable dental services to children at local schools, Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 am–3:00 pm. All supplies, equipment, and support staff are provided. This is a low‑stress, non‑private‑practice setting; part‑time options are also available. Responsibilities
- Conduct initial screenings
- Conduct comprehensive oral exams
- Establish treatment plans
- Perform extractions
- Place fillings
- Place stainless steel crowns
- Administer fluoride treatments
- Apply sealants
- Provide prophylaxis (prophys)
Qualifications
- Proficiency in all of the areas listed above (screenings, exams, treatment planning, extractions, fillings, stainless steel crowns, fluoride, sealants, prophylaxis)
- Current Ohio Dental License
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification
- Medicaid certification or willingness to become certified
- Willingness to travel within a 2‑hour radius

Pay
Compensation is 32% of billed production for school clinic days, with a daily average earnings of $1,500 or more. A $10,000 sign‑on bonus is available. Travel reimbursement is provided.
Schedule
Full‑time schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 am–3:00 pm (no weekend or evening hours). Part‑time options are also available.
