General Dentist

DOCS Health, a 33‑year‑old provider of on‑location comprehensive healthcare services for federal, state, local government agencies and educational institutions, is seeking a part‑time Dentist to deliver general dentistry services with an emphasis on oral surgery. DOCS manages all staffing, invoicing, and dental‑supply ordering, and the Dentist will have direct access to the Chief Dental Officer for clinical consultation and support. Malpractice reimbursement is provided.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients in accordance with professional standards and the defined scope of service.
• Treat acutely symptomatic concerns.
• Perform routine and surgical extractions.
• Document each dental encounter using the SOAP format, update the patient’s health history, and obtain patient consent prior to care.
• Submit patient treatment logs to the Corporate Office after each visit.
• Provide dental services within designated hours of operation.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted State Dental License.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Dentistry (DDS/DMD).
• Confidence and proficiency in surgical technique.
• Ability to lift portal dental equipment weighing up to 50 lb.
• Experienced clinician preferred; recent graduates who have completed a residency program are encouraged to apply.
