About the role

The General Counsel will provide legal guidance and support to the organization, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. They will also manage legal matters, negotiate contracts, and represent the company in legal disputes.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel to senior management and other key stakeholders
• Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
• Represent the company in litigation and arbitration proceedings
• Manage legal matters and investigations
• Monitor and advise on emerging legal issues and trends

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
• At least 7 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
• Experience in contract negotiation and drafting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proven ability to handle complex legal issues and negotiations
• Experience in regulatory compliance and risk management
• Knowledge of intellectual property law
• Experience in employment law and labor relations
