General Contractor Intern- 2027

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our construction team and gain hands-on experience supporting a wide range of project activities. This internship offers an opportunity to learn how projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered in a collaborative environment while contributing to real work on active job sites and in the office.What You’ll Do Support project managers, superintendents, and field teams with day-to-day coordination tasks Assist with job site visits, progress tracking, and basic project documentation Help organize submittals, requests for information, meeting notes, and change documentation Participate in schedule updates, material coordination, and procurement support Observe and assist with quality control and job site safety practices Prepare reports, maintain records, and enter project data accurately Communicate professionally with team members, vendors, subcontractors, and clients as assigned Take part in learning opportunities to build knowledge of construction processes and project deliveryWhat We’re Looking For Currently enrolled in or planning to pursue a degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field Strong interest in the construction industry and eagerness to learn Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools Willingness to work in both office and field settings as neededPreferred Qualifications Prior internship, internship coursework, or project experience in construction or a related environment Exposure to scheduling, estimating, blueprint reading, or project management concepts Familiarity with construction software or document control systemsWhat You Can Expect Exposure to multiple phases of construction projects Mentorship from experienced professionals A learning-focused environment that supports growth and development Meaningful work that contributes to real project outcomesAdditional InformationThis internship is designed to provide practical experience and professional development opportunities.
