General Construction Cost Estimator

Responsibilities

• Aid the Lead Estimator with General Trades and Site Development estimating firm-wide.
• Conduct conceptual-level estimating and milestone estimates during the design progression.
• Create detailed bid-level construction cost estimates.
• Collaborate on assembling and rolling up cost estimates for all trades on a project.
• Participate in the strategic growth of the Estimating Department and Construction Management Practice Area.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Construction Technology/Management, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in General Construction Cost Estimating with multidiscipline buildings and infrastructure projects of various sizes.
• Significant experience with General Trades and Site Development Cost Estimating from conceptual levels through detailed bid levels.
• Proficiency in using cost estimating software and developing detailed quantity take-offs.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team environment.
• Leadership abilities, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to multitask.
