General Cleaner (Part-time)

Primary Responsibilities

• Sweep floors, hallways, corridors, and stairways.
• Mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor surfaces.
• Washes, cleans, disinfects, deodorizes, and maintains restrooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Replaces toilet tissue, towel, soap, and deodorizer, as required.
• Operates industrial type equipment, including vacuum cleaners to clean carpet, mats, runners, using chemical and cleaning solutions as required.
• Washes windows, walls, partitions, vents, grills, pipes, etc.
• Moves furniture, boxes, or other obstacles in accomplishment of cleaning duties.
• Moves trash, scraps, and other material to pick up points.
• Dusts, waxes, and polishes office furniture; cleans shelves and empties waste baskets.
• Maintains/organizes stock of restroom and janitorial supplies closets.
• Cleans industrial machines, tolling, mirrors, and fans.
• May do light outdoor work related to facility cleanliness such as picking up litter.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of industrial cleaning experience.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Must possess valid driver’s license.
