ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing/Spot Cleaning: Use a germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces with a germicidal solution, including doorknobs, walls, and soap dispensers.
• Bathroom Maintenance: Empty and clean ash urns and trash cans daily, refill as needed.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum rooms, paying special attention to under furniture and behind doors.
• Grounds Care: Clean and check sidewalks, flower beds, and curb lines for trash and cigarette butts.
• Food Court: Clean tables, sanitize, and empty trash cans; stack clean trays for recycling.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors before entering, answer questions courteously, and report issues to supervisor.
• Physical Demands: Perform tasks involving walking, standing, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, twisting, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, fingering, and overhead reaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Communication skills to interact with co-workers and supervisors.
• Operate and interpret instructions for cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain physical condition suitable for assigned duties, including safety standards.
