About the role
We are seeking a skilled General Assembly Technician to join our team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble wood parts and upholstery using a staple gun and air-powered frame gun
- Work with polyfoam to create comfortable and durable products
- Read and follow assembly instructions, blueprints, and production sheets to meet daily production goals
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet company quality standards and inspection requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Operate and maintain air-powered frame and/or nail guns in accordance with company safety practices
- Ensure regular attendance and compliance with all work schedules
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with general assembly
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
