General Assembler - Entry Level (Must Have Exp in Assembly or Clean-room)

About the role

The role involves small parts assembly, including assembling catheter parts and medical devices. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment, conducting quality inspections, and adhering to quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small catheter parts and medical devices
• Conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
• Perform any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices
• Set up, operate, and perform maintenance on and troubleshoot equipment
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and assist with projects and qualifications concerning the process when needed
• Enter batch information into database and utilize small hand tools and/or precision devices to aid in the manufacturing process
• Perform inspection of own work and prior manufacturing operations

Requirements

• Entry level - at least 6 months of experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one to two years of manufacturing assembly experience with small parts assembly experience, microscope or inspection
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations
• Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as calipers, micrometers, rulers
• Able to work with razor blades, tweezers, and microscopes
• Flexible and/or extended hours and punctual reporting to work
• Good attention to detail
• Clean room experience preferred
• Team player and willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical device or manufacturing experience preferred
• Accurately complete Device History Records and associated paperwork
• Basic math calculations and reading/writing comprehension skills
• Use of basic tools of measurement
• Ability to work with small hand tools and/or precision devices
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
