General Assembler

Responsibilities

• Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Follow GMPs and standard operating procedures.
• Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required.
• Demonstrate adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviors, work environment and housekeeping.
• Be available for overtime as needed.
• Perform all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matters such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses), always maintaining proper housekeeping, and properly labeling and storing chemicals.
• Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise.
• Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GMPs, ISO 14001, OSHA, etc.).
• Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines.
• Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.
• Look for ways to simplify or improve products, services, systems, and processes to achieve.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum of 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read, write, and understand Basic English (preferred).
• Operating skills of manufacturing equipment, tools, and hand/pallet jack (preferred).
• Problem‑solving skills (highly preferred).

Schedule

• 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 3rd shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 4th shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12 hrs.), Sat & Sun PT
• 5th shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12 hrs.), Sat & Sun PT
