Responsibilities
- Work with the HR Coordinators on team member onboarding deadlines for payroll.
- Contact managers if time and attendance is not closed or any questions prior to payroll.
- Closing payroll and processing checks, direct deposits, and printing, sorting, delivering to administration.
- Follow up on any payroll questions and make adjustments.
- Process interim checks.
- Process payroll reports such as PTO, 401k, worker’s comp.
- Prepare payroll entries to the General Ledger and reconcile all related accounts.
- Act as back-up for Accounts Payable.
- Aid in the daily sales report, posting, and reporting, and cash out room duties, as required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred and/or relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- A solid working knowledge of Microsoft products, including strong working knowledge of excel.
- Ability to read, write, and present business materials.
- Ability to apply basic math skills and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret procedural guidelines, write correspondence, and speak effectively.
- Strong bookkeeping skills.
