Snowline Engineering is a state-of-the-art precision machining facility located in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada, just 20 minutes outside of Sacramento. Our company provides diversity in precision machining, precision sheet metal, light to medium fabrication, and turnkey assemblies. With a history dating back to 1966, we serve a diverse customer base, including the Aerospace, Robotics, Medical, and Train industries. Our 80,000 square foot facility features cutting-edge equipment, and we offer in-house training and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• GL account maintenance
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• Record accruals and track prepayments
• Reconcile loan payments and maintain accurate amortization schedules
• Reconcile credit cards and general accounts monthly
• Review payroll data for accuracy
• Analyze financial data and assist with budgets and forecasts
• Assist with AP and AR related activities, including creating invoices and communication with customers and vendors
• Process vendor returns and track debit and credit memos
• Maintain and review inventory reports and job costing data
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Track cash flow
• File and organize internal financial files (paper and electronic)

Requirements

• AA or BA in accounting preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Detailed knowledge of Excel and Word programs
• Experience with accounting software within an ERP (Jobboss2 is a plus)
• Knowledge of internal control framework

Pay

$65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
