General Accountant

Job Duties

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Cook up monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying transactions, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
• Oversee accounts receivable, including billing customers, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
• Aid in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant financial regulations and dealership policies.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of ledger accounts through regular reviews.
• Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to ensure accurate recording of vehicle purchases and sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and accounting records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, management, finance or related field.
• One year of accounting experience.
