Gen AI Developer Specialist

About the role

We have an immediate opening for a Gen AI Developer Specialist to work onsite in Mclean, VA (5 days a week). This role involves building agentic workflows, automating testing using AI, and leveraging tools such as GitHub, Copilot, and Claude.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LLM-powered agents with tool-using, multi-step reasoning, and guardrails.
• Apply prompting patterns, structured outputs (JSON schemas), evaluation, and techniques to reduce hallucinations.
• Create agent workflows for:
  • Test generation and augmentation
  • Requirements review and completeness validation
  • Report generation and summarization
• Develop and maintain GitHub platform workflows, including:
  • GitHub Actions (CI/CD pipelines, reusable workflows, composite actions)
  • PR checks, branch protections, CODEOWNERS, and templates
  • Automation via GitHub APIs and webhooks
• Design and implement advanced test automation with:
  • Karate (API testing, contract-like checks, data-driven testing, mocks)
  • Playwright (UI automation, selectors strategy, parallelization, trace/video artifacts)
• Ensure strong test design and coverage for:
  • Happy path scenarios
  • Negative/validation scenarios
  • Edge/boundary scenarios
  • Data setup/teardown strategies and test isolation
• Aggregate and normalize results from multiple microservices and pipelines.
• Produce actionable automated reports, including trend analysis, failure clustering, and service correlation.
• Implement automated checks to validate:
  • Acceptance criteria completeness
  • Required test data and environment dependencies
  • Non-functional requirements (performance, security, observability) when applicable
• Deliver a reusable agentic testing automation kit adopted by multiple teams.
• Publish coverage standards, templates, and onboarding documentation.
• Build a working GenAI-assisted reporting pipeline aggregating results across microservices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience (required: more than 10 years).
• 5+ years of experience in AI development with a strong background in GenAI/LLM and agentic development.
• Hands-on experience building agentic workflows and automating testing using AI.
• Valid US work authorization: GC, H4EAD, USC, H1B, or GCEAD.
