GE Vernova Component & Development Test Engineer
About the role
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
Responsibilities
- For the execution of laboratory and field validation tests, inspections, and data collection during the development and validation of products and services, a bachelor's degree is typically not required.
- Responsible for planning and building test setups, inspection stands, instrumentation systems, and developing test software.
- Develop conceptual knowledge of the discipline.
- Can assume support roles with specialized technical knowledge or technical expertise across a broad range of topics.
- Applies general business knowledge developed through training or previous experience.
- Understands how their team's work contributes to the area.
- Solves problems using established procedures.
- Consults superiors or senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- Works collaboratively to solve problems.
- Develops strong customer relationships for customer-oriented roles and serves as a liaison between customers and GE Vernova.
- Provides technical information, answers questions, and verifies understanding.
Requirements
This role requires basic experience. The knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or an equivalent background with an A-level diploma).

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
