GCS Control Room Operator
About the role
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is a leading semiconductor technology company dedicated to innovation. This role involves monitoring and managing gas and chemical supply systems in a large semiconductor manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the operation of onsite gas and chemical supply systems.
- Investigate and address alarms, warnings, and abnormal conditions promptly.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure continuous awareness of GCS equipment activities.
- Control access to GCS department areas and equipment.
- Work with equipment engineers and controls teams to refine alarm levels and set points.
Requirements
- Technical associate degree or equivalent related training.
- At least 2 years of experience as a control room operator or similar equipment monitoring role.
- Minimum 4 years of chemical or gas process experience.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to access information subject to U.S. export control laws.
- Eligible for government authorization if required.
Skills

- 4+ years of chemical or gas process experience.
Pay
The current base salary range for this role is between $23.50- $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience.
