GCP Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, cloud platforms, and modern container orchestration technologies. This role will be responsible for building, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring security, reliability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure deployments using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to support scalable and repeatable infrastructure provisioning.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes environments to support containerized applications and services.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure components including identity and access management, security policies, logging, monitoring, and operational controls.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure infrastructure is secure, highly available, and optimized for performance.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, and automation initiatives across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform in a production environment, including building and automating infrastructure deployments through Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Deep understanding of core infrastructure engineering concepts, including identity and access management (IAM), security policies and governance, log management and monitoring solutions, networking, and infrastructure operations.
• Proven infrastructure-focused experience.
• Candidates whose experience is primarily application development without significant infrastructure responsibility will not be considered.
• Experience working within cloud environments and cloud-native technologies.
