Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL
• Design and implement cloud functions and GCS buckets using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Work with Firestore Database and manage Cloud Scheduler tasks
• Utilize Artifact Registry for version control and deployment
• Build APIs and managed container platforms (MCP) as needed
• Implement Pub/Sub technologies for message communication
• Use GitHub Actions for continuous integration and delivery
• Deploy forward-deployable applications to production environments
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop strategies
• Conduct quality assurance testing
• Be proactive in seeking out and addressing follow-up questions

Requirements

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in data engineering
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and related tools
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Cloud Functions, GCS Buckets, Firestore DB, Cloud Scheduler, and Artifact Registry
• Knowledge of building APIs and MCP
• Experience with Pub/Sub technologies
• Experience with GitHub Actions
• Ability to deploy forward-deployable applications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with data engineering practices
• Experience working in a hybrid work environment
• Experience working with international teams
