About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in GCP services, cloud architecture, security, networking, DevOps, and migration strategies. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and project managers to deliver cloud-native solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud architecture using Google Cloud Platform.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises or other cloud providers to GCP.
• Develop scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud solutions.
• Create cloud architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plans.
• Define cloud governance, security, compliance, and best practices.
• Design networking solutions including VPCs, VPNs, Cloud Interconnect, DNS, and Load Balancing.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
• Design CI/CD pipelines and automate cloud deployments.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Work closely with application development teams to modernize applications.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership.
• Mentor cloud engineers and technical teams.
• Stay current with emerging GCP services and industry best practices.
