GCN Principal Sales, Cloud & Ai Components

For our client, we are seeking a GCN Principal Sales, Cloud & Ai Components to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will drive strategic component sales across priority accounts, with a strong focus on electro-optic solutions used in data center and OEM environments. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional partners to build growth plans, execute territory strategy, and expand adoption of advanced networking technologies. Success in this role will depend on the ability to blend deep technical knowledge with commercial execution in a high-growth market, while maintaining disciplined pipeline management, reporting, and account planning. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $281,200 – $449,200 annually Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies for the company’s components portfolio Create business plans to support sales growth in priority accounts Drive sales of electro-optic assemblies and modules into data centers and OEMs Exceed sales targets across assigned accounts and market segments Promote collaboration across corporate functions Utilize sales tools effectively, including Salesforce CRM and CLM tools Maintain accurate reporting on sales strategies and progress Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent experience 15+ years of direct hardware, semiconductor, or component sales experience Extensive knowledge of electro-optic solutions and data center architectures Deep understanding of switching, routing, and optical transport technologies Proven track record in building business plans and sales strategies in high-growth tech markets Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans 401(K) with company matching Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation time Compliance with Paid Family Leave and other leave laws Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
