GCCS Systems Administrator

About the role

Paragon Cyber Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a team of skilled engineers supporting the Department of State, U.S. Strategic Command, and U.S. Air Force Space Command missions. The position requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and involves working up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Configuration and implementation of SEWS GCCS-J software and systems
• Development of GCCS-J courseware and operator training
• System support for remote users, including hardware, software, and communication issues
• Resolution of system outages and development of recommendations to reduce repair frequency
• Maintenance support for system and equipment issues
• Planning, developing, and conducting GCCS-J Familiarization Training
• Refresher training for existing staff and training for new operators
• Research, development, testing, and documentation of solutions for Research & Test activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• At least five (5) years of Windows and Linux systems administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Server Operating Systems, virtualization concepts, Microsoft Active Directory, current Microsoft operating systems, Oracle/Sybase/Postgres database maintenance, Java application servers, and Linux/UNIX applications and services

Qualifications

• Must currently hold and be able to maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Must have DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
• The ability to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific projects or missions
