GC Utility A 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Works hands on in assigned area using required equipment and materials.
• Assists in set-up and trouble shooting.
• Help coordinate schedule requirements and execute under supervisor's directions.
• Approves and monitors quality and safety requirements.
• Makes sure work area is left clean and organized.
• Able to use equipment including fin presses, expanders, cutoffs, benders, hand tools, and related equipment such as cranes.
• Requires ability to make mathematical calculations, comprehend decimals, and read blueprints.
• Must be able to correct tool wear and report issues.
• Must be able to make basic adjustments to equipment required to keep process in control.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must have complete understanding of CCP paperwork used to manufacture coils.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs. Hoists or helpers must be used in excess of that.
• Majority of position requires standing and walking, but bending and stooping are required.
• This job requires multi-tasking to keep things progressing.
• These positions require mental and visual alertness.

About the Role

• Must have strong summary of knowledge in processes, prints and procedures which include basic hands on proficiency in the following areas where needed: Fin Press/Sheet Metal, and Tubing as well as any other coil manufacturing disciplines and equipment.
