Position Overview

Guitar Center embodies creativity and music by encouraging staff to find their own individual sound. Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of Guitar Center in the store, greeting customers and qualifying their needs
• Match customer needs to the right product and pitch, overcoming objections to close sales
• Reach sales targets on services
• Demonstrate product and service knowledge to customers
• Assist customers and guide them through the sales process
• Participate in the Guitar Center certification program to build product and sales expertise
• Engage in continual learning through onboarding, certification, and continuing education
• Execute tasks that keep the store ready to conduct business and serve customers
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish displays as needed
• Clientele building and relationship management to fulfill future service needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong orientation toward providing excellent customer service
• High attention to detail

Preferences

• Intermediate knowledge of musical instruments sold at Guitar Center (e.g., guitars, drums, tech gear)
