Gastroenterology Opportunity - Join an Expanding Team with BayCare Medical Group - Tampa Bay, Florida

Inpatient coverage includes two BayCare Hospitals: Mease Dunedin Hospital (120-beds) and Mease Countryside Hospital (387-beds), approximately 6 miles apart.
The opportunity includes one office location conveniently situated on the campus of Mease Dunedin Hospital.
ERCP experience is desirable, although not required.
Call frequency is expected to be an average of 4 - 5 days a month.

About the Role

BayCare Medical Group, the leading physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is actively recruiting an additional Gastrenterologist to enhance and expand GI services in the vibrant communities of Dunedin and Safety Harbor, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Practice in a growing team of six experienced, board certified Gastroenterologists.
• Build and grow a general Gastroenterology practice.
• Provide inpatient coverage at two BayCare Hospitals: Mease Dunedin Hospital (120-beds) and Mease Countryside Hospital (387-beds).
• Conduct ERCP procedures if possible, but not required.
• Expect call frequency of 4 - 5 days per month.

Requirements

• Board Certification/Eligibility by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology.
• Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.

Qualifications

• Experience in gastroenterology is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
