Gastroenterology NP / PA

About the Role

Join a highly regarded gastroenterology team offering a collaborative practice environment, an established patient base, and the stability and resources of a large, integrated health system. This outpatient gastroenterology practice is located on the Mercy Hospital campus, serving a growing adult patient population (18+) with an average daily volume of 12–15 patients. The role includes a predictable Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no weekends, plus optional outreach opportunities in Menasha.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care by conducting health assessments, obtaining patient histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and delivering preventive care services.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on preventive health, treatment options, and community resources.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board required.
• BLS Provider preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Master's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
