Gastroenterology Hospitalist
About the role
St. David's Healthcare is recruiting a hospital‑based gastroenterologist to join an employed group at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient general acute‑care gastroenterology services for one hospital.
- Perform ERCP procedures as required.
- Cover inpatient shifts on a flexible schedule (7 on/7 off, 14 on/14 off, or one week per month).
- Collaborate with APP support; currently two GI hospitalists cover two weeks per month.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology.
- Active Texas medical license preferred, or ability to obtain one.

Flexible scheduling options: 7 on/7 off, 14 on/14 off, or one week per month coverage.
