Gastroenterology Clinic Advanced Practice Provider

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical examinations and interpret test results
• Develop and manage patient care plans
• Write orders and prescriptions
• Facilitate admissions, discharges, and specialist referrals
• Collaborate and coordinate care with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and specialists
• Educate and advocate for patients on health problems, treatment plans, self-care, and prevention
• Maintain meticulous documentation and records in patient charts and medical records

Requirements

• Certified Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• At least 2 years experience in Gastroenterology
• Exceptional clinical assessment skills
• Commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years prior experience in gastroenterology
