About the role

The selected candidates will be responsible for establishing and participating in a dedicated adult gastroenterology service at Memorial Healthcare System. The physicians will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, specialized care for patients with acute gastrointestinal conditions. This role requires expertise in treating and managing a wide range of GI emergencies and performing necessary procedures.

Responsibilities

• Establish and participate in a dedicated adult gastroenterology service at Memorial Healthcare System.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, specialized care for patients with acute gastrointestinal conditions.
• Treat and manage a wide range of GI emergencies.
• Perform necessary procedures as part of the gastroenterology service.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
• Experience in treating and managing acute gastrointestinal conditions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Medical License in good standing.
• Completion of a Gastroenterology residency program.

Skills

• Expertise in treating and managing acute gastrointestinal conditions.
• Collaborative teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to perform necessary procedures in a gastroenterology setting.

Pay

The compensation package is commensurate with training and experience.
