Gastroenterology Advanced Endoscopy - One Hour From NYC

Stamford Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Gastroenterologist with fellowship training in advanced endoscopy. This position includes both clinical and academic responsibilities.

About the role

The primary office site is in downtown Stamford at the Tully Ambulatory Center, with a second office located at a surgical center in Wilton, CT. Procedures are also performed at Stamford Hospital. This position is open due to growth.

Our ideal candidate is patient-centered, with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing compassionate, holistic patient care.

Stamford Health is a major educational affiliate of Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and is also affiliated with the Frank Netter School of Medicine of Quinnipiac University. Students from both medical schools rotate on inpatient services and in clinics. Columbia also sponsors residency programs. Attendings are encouraged to participate in teaching residents and students and receive faculty appointments at both schools.

Responsibilities

  • Combination of clinical and academic responsibilities
  • Share call of 1:8 at Stamford Hospital

Requirements

  • Board Certified in gastroenterology
  • Fellowship trained in gastroenterology advanced endoscopy
  • CT Licensed or able to secure a CT License
