About the role

The Gastroenterology Department of Stamford Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Gastroenterologist with fellowship training in advanced endoscopy. This position includes both clinical and academic responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • M-F, combination of clinical and academic responsibilities
  • Share call of 1:8 at Stamford Hospital
  • Patient-centered collegial group
  • Competitive base salary and wRVU component
  • No cap

Requirements

  • Board Certified in gastroenterology
  • Fellowship trained in gastroenterology advanced endoscopy
  • CT Licensed or able to secure a CT License

Qualifications

Stamford Health is a major educational affiliate of Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and we are also affiliated with the Frank Netter School of Medicine of Quinnipiac University. Students from both medical schools rotate on inpatient services and in our clinics. Attendings are encouraged to participate in teaching residents and students, and those who do get faculty appointments at both schools.
