Gastroenterologist - Locums Assistance

About the role

Gastro hospitalist with an inpatient focus, providing endoscopy and related procedures at two hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Perform Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal
• Perform ERCP diagnostic and esophageal dilatation
• Perform lower GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with polyp excision
• Manage approximately 5 patients per shift
• Coordinate with hospital teams to ensure patient safety and procedural care

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in endoscopic procedures, including ERCP and esophageal dilatation
• Experience in biopsy, foreign body removal, and polyp excision
• Strong inpatient focus
• Ability to work collaboratively within hospitalist settings

Schedule

Primarily Monday to Friday, approximately 8 hours daily.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $335.00 to $425.00 hourly, reflecting experience and qualifications.
