Gastroenterologist/IBD Specialist

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Gastroenterologist specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease to join our multidisciplinary care team at the Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease located at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology from an accredited program
• Additional training and clinical experience in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• Ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include providing specialized care for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues in colorectal surgery, nutrition, and social work, mentoring fellows and residents, and contributing to clinical trials and academic initiatives.

Pay

The minimum base salary for this position is $395,775. The posted rate of pay is a reasonable good-faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting and does not reflect the full value of the market-competitive total rewards package. The starting base salary is provided for informational purposes only and is not a guarantee of a specific offer. The final base compensation may vary based on factors including specialization, experience, leadership, education, certifications, productivity, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and budget considerations.
