Gastroenterologist – Hybrid General GI & Advanced Endoscopy

About the role

Gastro Health Birmingham is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our well-established, physician-led group. The position offers a hybrid practice combining general gastroenterology and advanced therapeutic endoscopy, including EUS, ERCP, and other complex endoscopic interventions. Responsibilities

• Perform EUS, ERCP, and other complex endoscopic interventions within an established referral network
• Collaborate with a team of 9 physicians and 9 APPs
• Enjoy strong patient demand and an established referral network

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
• Experience in advanced therapeutic endoscopy is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• License to practice medicine in Alabama
• Passing scores on all required exams
