About the role

The position is open for a BC/BE Gastroenterology Hospitalist Physician at Franciscan Medical Group in Tacoma, WA. The role involves providing compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Joining a dynamic healthcare team specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Gastroenterology cases.
• Providing compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families.
• Practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.
• Working in a collegial, multidisciplinary care environment with superb support staff.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Active or eligible license in the state of Washington.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in general Gastroenterology with ERCP training preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Exceptional clinician with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
• Schedule includes one week on and one week off. Hours are 7a - 5p on weekdays with one night call per month. Weekdays include covering 2 hospitalis and weekend coverage is 1-2 hospitals. Weekends include Friday 5p - Monday 7a. Generally, there are 23 weekday blocks and 23 weekend blocks. APP support on the weekdays.
• Compensation is based on a salary of $597,408.00.
