About the role

Optum NY is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our team in Carmel, NY. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you'll have the clinical resources, data and support of a global organization behind you so you can help your patients live healthier lives.

Responsibilities

• Consult patients to understand their health concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients
• Perform endoscopic procedures
• Evaluate patients in the office and perform procedures in a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgical Center
• Consult with patient's primary care physician and other specialists
• Partner with your very own Medical Assistant

Qualifications

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process
• Fellowship trained and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start

Pay

Salary range is $371,000 to $735,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
