About the role

As our Gastroenterologist, you will join our growing practice at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group in Lufkin, TX. You will play a pivotal role in the success and development of our Gastroenterology practice. Every day you will provide expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex gastrointestinal conditions, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex gastrointestinal conditions, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the gastroenterology division within Baylor St. Luke's Health.
• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and EMR.
• Participate in call coverage.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active or eligible license in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Completion of ACGME Residency and Gastroenterology fellowship
• American Board Certification and active BLS
