About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 3 physicians and 3 APPs. Call structure: 1:4 M-TH and 1:8 weekends. Practice setting: outpatient clinic and endoscopy suite. Access to Support staff.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Perform endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and GI procedures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with primary care physicians, surgeons, hospitalists, and other specialists.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support clinical care, compliance, and reimbursement requirements.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.
