The Charlottesville Gas Utility Engineer oversees the planning and engineering of all gas utility projects. Responsibilities include developing, analyzing, and implementing strategies and policies related to gas utility operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and engineering of all gas utility projects
• Develop, analyze, and implement strategies and policies related to gas utility operations
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in gas utility engineering
• PE license required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience with gas utility systems and infrastructure
• Knowledge of gas utility codes and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
