Gas Turbine Mechanic - 2nd Shift

About the Role

Are you motivated by hands‑on mechanical work and leading by example? Do you enjoy assembling complex equipment and supporting a high‑performing team in a manufacturing or repair environment? As a Gas Turbine Mechanic – 2nd Shift, you will support assembly and mechanical work activities related to gas turbine components, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly and related work using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Support and guide others during work efforts.
• Utilize forklifts and departmental equipment in accordance with training, safety, and operational requirements.
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and procedures to ensure accurate assembly and quality outcomes.
• Support general shop activities, including material handling and equipment setup.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in line with company Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Conduct all activities in alignment with company policies, quality requirements, and core values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant mechanical or industrial experience.
• Strong mechanical background with hands‑on experience using tools and equipment for assembly work.
• Successfully completed required welding tests and qualifications.
• Ability to follow standardized work instructions and procedures with attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
