Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a warm welcome
• Provide excellent service to develop repeat customers
• Accurately process all sales and cash transactions in a friendly and professional manner
• Stock merchandise according to policy and maintain a safe, clean, and organized store
• Operate in a high-volume convenience store and gas station to maximize profits and minimize expenses
• Ensure all sales transactions are completed according to established procedures
• Maintain inventory levels and store organization
• Accurately process every sale according to management-established procedures
• Maintain pumps and ensure all equipment is operational
• Provide the highest quality customer service characterized by friendliness, accuracy, and speed
• Process all merchandise, including gas, according to policy and ready for resale
• Assist the manager in maintaining and operating systems including point-of-sale, pumps, and other equipment
• Clean the store, including sweeping floors, cleaning restrooms, and wiping down shelves
• Ensure the gas station is a clean and safe place to shop and work
• Flexible workweek with possible additional hours required
• Perform other job-related duties as directed

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred
• Three months of recent and related experience in customer service or convenience store/gas station operations preferred

Pay

$17.50 per hour
