Gas Laborer

About the role

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Gas Laborer at the Dexter Work Center. The position involves the construction and maintenance of gas distribution lines. Applicants must meet the domicile requirement and be willing to work in the specified area.

Responsibilities

• Operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, trenchers, and jackhammers
• Assembling and installing gas meters
• Installing leak clamps
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Related experience is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment testing associated with the position.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License is required.
• If an individual does not have a Class A CDL, the Company will provide training to obtain one.
• An individual must have a Class A CDL Permit that includes combination vehicle and air brakes before employment.
• The CDL permit is required on the first day of employment.

Pay

Hourly Pay: Grade Step BA 019 Step 1 of 1 (Top Step) - 39.96 USD
