About the Role

CenterPoint Energy is looking for a Gas Engineer Summer Intern to join our team in Houston, TX. This role offers the opportunity to assist engineers with a variety of projects and contribute to our commitment to safely and reliably delivering electricity and natural gas to millions of people.

Responsibilities

• Assist designers in project design activities.
• Research the status of various public improvement projects.
• Update Access databases and Excel spreadsheets concerning project status.
• Provide project completion data for public improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student (sophomore, junior, or senior preferred) pursuing an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Industrial, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong GPA.
• Valid driver's license required.
