Gas Cylinder Maintenance

Job Summary

Prepare cylinders according to established procedures. Ensure that cylinders are prepared and ready for maintenance crew as needed. Duties Include Valve and de-valve cylinders. Scrap labels to prepare for regular maintenance. General maintenance of cylinders. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Attend Monthly Safety Meetings. Work according to established safety procedures and promote safety with co-workers. Inform supervisors of potential safety hazards.

Requirements

• General knowledge of common hand tools, power tools and their proper use.
• Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, and good math skills.
• Good reading and writing skills.
• Able to read and comprehend technical manuals and government publications.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to lift/move 80 lbs.

Work Environment

Some outside. Must pass drug screen and background check.

Pay

Salary Range:** Expected hiring salary is $22.00/hr. for Day Shift and $23.00/hr for Swing Shift. The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $22.00/hr.-$29.50/hr.
