Title Garment Technician Job Description Job Overview The Garment Technician will be responsible for delivering, unloading, and organizing garments to their correct areas. Comply with safety rules, policies, and proceduresStop at risk behavior of others and selfPerform work assignments individually or in a team with other employees as requiredPerform repetitive tasksMaintain clean work areaFollow all company procedures, policies, and rulesTake direction and respond to supervisionTalk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional mannerFill in during staff shortageBreakdown of Prudential Tall Boys in B13 WarehouseStaging Industrial garments in B13 Warehouse for delivery by drop zone and sizeDelivery of clean Industrial garments to drop zones throughout campusRemoval of soiled bags from drop zones throughout campusReturn of soiled bags to B13 Qualification To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education And/ Or Experience No education requirement 6 months to 1-year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents Strong verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
