Gardener

About the role

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Gardener to support the maintenance and care of outdoor areas, plants, lawns, and landscaped spaces. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining clean and attractive environments, and is comfortable performing hands-on tasks as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, plants, trees, and landscaped areas.
• Perform routine watering, trimming, pruning, and planting.
• Remove weeds, leaves, debris, and unwanted vegetation.
• Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants.
• Maintain garden beds and outdoor areas in an organized condition.
• Mow, edge, and maintain grass areas as needed.
• Use basic gardening tools and equipment safely and properly.
• Monitor plants and outdoor areas for visible maintenance needs.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping and garden preparation.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow established safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
• Work with team members to complete daily landscaping and maintenance tasks.
• Communicate maintenance needs or concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous gardening, landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
