GARDEN VOLUNTEER

About the role

We are always looking for volunteers to support our school gardens and the Urban Farm at Enston Home. Garden Volunteers commit to garden work days or special projects throughout the semester or year. Work days have a capped number of volunteer spaces and are posted on our Events Calendar.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Garden Work Days: Sign up for posted work days or special projects.
• Urban Farm Field Trips: Bring a group of students for a farm tour, hands-on garden activity, and farm-fresh taste-test. Field trips can be customized to meet educational needs. The cost is $10/person, but we are happy to discuss payment if this is prohibitive.
• Volunteer Groups: Groups of 15 or fewer can volunteer on Thursday evenings at the Urban Farm at Enston Home. Registration is required via our Events Calendar.
• Special Events for Sponsors: Outside of Thursday evenings, we organize special garden volunteer events for financial sponsors. Contact Executive Director Jesse Blom at jesse@greenheartsc.org for sponsorship opportunities.

How to Get Involved
