Garden Farm Hand

About the role

We are a small vegetable and meat farm in Oxford Massachusetts, adopting organic and no-till practices to provide healthy food for the community. We are currently seeking part-time crew members to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Bed prep
• Pruning
• Seeding
• Planting
• Harvesting
• Washing

This is a hands-on role requiring physical stamina. Tasks include lifting heavy objects, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and standing or walking for extended periods.

Requirements

• Reliable and self-motivated
• Able to work independently or as part of a team

Scheduling

We are looking for someone who can work mid-April through October. Scheduling is flexible but should be stated upfront if possible. Typically, you will work 2-3 days a week for 4-5 hours a day, generally on weekdays in the morning but occasional afternoons or weekends may be needed due to weather or other circumstances.
