About the role

This position is hands‑on mechanical work in garage environments. You will diagnose problems, repair and install components such as springs, cables, rollers, openers, and motors, and then communicate the solution to homeowners in a trustworthy, professional manner. Selling is integral to the role: a repair is only paid when the homeowner agrees to the service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose garage door issues on site.
• Repair or replace springs, cables, rollers, openers, motors, and related hardware.
• Install new garage door systems.
• Communicate findings and recommended solutions clearly to homeowners.
• Close sales by earning homeowner trust and securing agreement for repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety protocols.
• Use company-provided tools, apps, and tablets for measurements, documentation, and payment processing.

Requirements

• Age 21 or older with a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75 lb., bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in extreme temperatures (hot garages up to 100 °F and cold environments).
• Some hands‑on mechanical experience or comfort using tools (e.g., home services, auto shops, hospitality, DIY projects).
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check and drug test (THC excluded).
• Basic technical proficiency with apps and tablets; ability to perform measurements and handle payment transactions.
• No prior sales experience required – training will be provided.

Pay

Commission‑based, uncapped earnings. First‑year technicians typically earn $60 K–$90 K+, with the potential to exceed six figures as experience grows.

Schedule

Shifts vary by performance and seniority and may include:

• 6 AM – 4 PM
• 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• 11 AM – 9 PM

The facility operates seven days a week, so flexibility for weekend work is required.
