About the Role

At Primrose, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for our youngest learners. We are currently seeking a passionate GA Prek Assistant Teacher, for the 2026-2027 school year, who will support our lead teachers in fostering a love for learning in children. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to make a positive impact in early childhood education. This position will start next school year.

Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children, ensuring their well-being.
  • Engage with children in a positive manner, promoting social and emotional development.
  • Support classroom management and maintain a clean and organized learning space.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young children (1-3 years preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in early childhood education settings.
  • Familiarity with child development principles and practices.
